THE TRUTH BEHIND THE STORY . . .
In 1952, a primitive UNIVAC computer successfully predicted the winner of the Eisenhower vs. Stevenson presidential election. "Reminiscent of "Seven Days in May" which is an all time favorite political thriller." (AC)
"It does raise an eyebrow. Interesting that an HBO documentary on this subject was quickly cancelled." (LM)
"Well written, but most important is the possibility the book's fictitious company may actually exist. If one company controls the majority of our vote, the author might be taking us beyond fiction." (LC)

Electron A Political Thriller Revolution Book 3 eBook Gary Naiman
I am a fan of Naiman's fiction, particularly enjoy his skills at painting scenes and switching points of view seamlessly. Puts the reader in the "heads" of many characters, both good and bad people. This book is one of this author's best as it captures your interest in the first 20 pages, and, flows rapidly thereafter. Reminiscent of "Seven Days in May" which is an all time favorite political thriller. A bit dark in tone. By structuring the story around national elections in the US and vote counting processes, it is very topical to this election year. The description of computer technology and assembler type code language shows a depth of knowledge unusual in fiction writing, but, does not get boring to the reader. Excellent and timely novel!Product details

Electron A Political Thriller Revolution Book 3 eBook Gary Naiman Reviews
enjoyed the series
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the sequel! If you are looking for great political action here's your book
Naiman puts an interesting spin on the 2016 election year. It brings up an interesting question, i.e., are computer voting machines rigged and to what extent? Well written with a couple of surprises, but the most important part is the possibility that the book's fictitious company may actually exist. If one company controls the majority of our vote, the author might be taking us beyond fiction. Interesting proposition! I give Electron 4 Stars.
I felt immediately pulled into the story and finished this book over the weekend! I had to sacrifice my usual movie night for this reading and feel rewarded. )
I think this novel is very relevant with the elections coming up this year. Great food for thought.
Now my friend is reading it, and I think she won't be disappointed.
Interesting stretch that better be fiction. The new lead character resembles the author's previous protagonist and the plot remains true to its two predecessors' political conspiracy fiction. Well written and all that, but there are so many like it. I would have given it three stars, but I decided to check out "voter fraud" and "election fraud" and "electronic voting" on the net, and what I learned was unsettling. Anyway, I'm giving it five stars because I wouldn't want to be the author. If he wins an award, it will be at his coffin.
ELECTRON is a new view of a daunting problem facing our society if not our world. Who counts what is important in our society? Gary Naiman introduces the primary character, Jonas Larson, in a point, past Larson's A-game. A brilliant computer scientist buried in academia. From that point Larson is joined by other characters who expand, complicate and challenge Larson to the breaking point. Each character is developed so the reader will know who is who, but not who does what to whom. The narrative flows through locations, adding to the drama and complexity on the story line. This books will keep you awake and begs to be finished. Fun and energetic storyline. Well developed characters and a closing that fits the pace of the book.
Good thing it's fiction. I did some fact-checking after reading it and found quite a few unsettling articles about online vote tampering and election fraud. the common thread is how easy it is to change an election result without anyone knowing, especially if no independent audits are performed. Scary, but it does raise an eyebrow. Interesting that an HBO documentary on this subject was quickly cancelled. The book is well-written with an intriguing plot and guilt-riddled lead character. The protagonist and antagonists are somewhat stereotyped, but Electron's CEO is not. I found him and the presidents chief of staff most interesting. Worth a read for those who like political conspiracies, and maybe some food for thought.
